"The Juggler" is a piece of kinetic sculpture developed and refined over the past five years.

Its principles are straightforward - one steel ball at a time rolls from the leather cup at the top through a labyrinth of holes, emerging at the base and triggering the next ball on its way down.

After 15 minutes, the accumulated balls are sent skywards by blows of a mallet on the end of a pivoted spoon. The balls land in the leather pouch at the top, skimming the interior of the glass case in their trajectory.

It is believed that "The Juggler" is unique in having unrestrained balls in flight as part of the movement.
