continuing downwards under gravity... |

cogs begin to move... |

then to spin... |

the ballbearing comes out at the bottom somehow... |

and rolls along... |
|
till it reaches the end of the runner... |
|
where it is tipped into another area... |
|
where it runs to the end... |
|
and waits... |
|
until the hammer lowers again... |
|
and strikes! |
|
sending the ballbearing whizzing up into the sky... |
|
over the top... |
|
and into the catcher... |
